Create a User
Note that you must have “Administrator” rights to access the Users module.
- Click the Users link at the top right of your window.
- Click the “New User” button. Fill in the details, and choose a role (see below). Email is optional (but is useful if you need to change your password if you have forgotten it).
- Click on the “Save” button.
Roles
Users can be assigned to one of three “roles” which come with differing levels of permissions/access to areas in the admin:
- Administrator – no restrictions
- Developer – cannot access the Users area
- Editor – has a variety of restrictions: e.g., cannot access Administration tab, User module, “protected” pages (as set by Administrator/Developer), etc.
